All About Mrs. Pugliano

This will be my third year at New Cumberland Middle School.  I have taught music for 12 years and computers for 5 years and have been at LMS, NCMS, CMS and RLHS.  I am so excited to be teaching computers again and look forward to working with students and technology.  I have been teaching in the West Shore School district since 1998 and have taught middle school that entire time!

I went to college at Mansfield University and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a concentration in voice.  I received my Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from Wilkes University in May 2011 and I will soon continue pursuing a second Masters Degree in Instructional Media.

I was married October 19th, 2002 to Chris and we have 2 cats named Guinness and Bailey (1 boy and 1 girl). We had a Renaissance themed wedding that received 2nd place in Renaissance Magazine's wedding contest!

My husband and I are passionate about the Medieval and Renaissance eras and we spend a lot of our free time going to Renaissance fairs and making costumes.

I love music! My absolute favorite band is U2 - I've seen them twice in concert.. I also love Queen, The Beatles, Madonna, The Who, Bob Dylan, The Killers, Mumford and Sons, Adele, Bruce Springsteen, Bruno Mars, Glee, and Prince. I also adore most musicals. Some of my favorites are Wicked, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Spring Awakening, Spamalot, The Lion King, and Les Miserables, Next To Normal, and The Book of Mormon.

I also love watching TV and going to the movies. Some of my favorite TV shows are Lost, Dr. Who and Sherlock. Favorite movies are The Princess Bride, Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Dark Knight Trilogy, Ponyo and all Marvel films.

As I'm sure you can see, I tend toward the geeky things - I love Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.

I look forward to getting to know all of the students at New Cumberland Middle School.
